Sacral Nerve Stimulation

What is sacral nerve stimulation?

Sacral nerves are the big nerves that leave the very lowest part of the spine (called the sacrum) to supply the pelvis, including the bladder.  Sacral nerve stimulation (tiny electrical pulses) can help some forms of bladder and bowel control problems, and pelvic pains.
